We created The Value Company because more than 90 million Americans are struggling with accessibility to healthcare insurance and prescription medication. The elephant in the room is that this affects every person in America, plus every person in our workforce everyday. A large portion of our workforce lives paycheck to paycheck and are unbanked, underbanked, self-insured, uninsured, and underinsured.
 -
Cost has historically been cited as a reason for being uninsured and, in 2022, 64.2 percent of nonelderly adults said they were uninsured because coverage was not affordable**. Many uninsured people don’t have access to coverage through a job, and some people, particularly poor adults in states that did not expand Medicaid, remain ineligible for financial assistance for coverage.
 -
Drug pricing affects almost everyone in the U.S. because prices are set by whether or not you have insurance and the level of insurance coverage you have.
 -
About 5.9 million households were considered underbanked as of 2021*** and they mainly rely on check cashing, payday loans, or money orders for some financial transactions.
